I want to thank you most sincerely and enthusiastically for my beautiful new 50-year Prestique Timberline roof! Even thou I only reluctantly gave up the old wood shake roof- like needing to replace a furnace that you certainly don't show off or have any reason to think about as long as it works - my new roof surprised me in its attractiveness! And I am enjoying looking at it and showing it off!
Although the wood shake is supposed to have “sex appeal”?, this composition roof has its own “curb appeal” and most complementary fit with the brick and the rest of my house, not to mention its improved fire safety and other advantages.
I was comfortable in selecting you, Mark, over six other roofers-and not just because of price (you were in the middle). I did my homework-Better Business Bureau (your rating is A+), driving around looking at roofs, talking to people…the whole nine yards plus. I believed you in your somewhat low-key presentation, and you satisfied your promises beyond even my high expectations , and those who rely on my research and recommendations know how high they are.
My landscape, which is somewhat unusual and therefore harder to protect, and my “precious” plants came through just great. You answered every phone call directly and once dropped what you were doing in Olathe and “flew” here over a concern I had which turned out to be quite minor. You or Glenn were here several times a day during the two days of installation, carefully monitoring it.
I also want to extend my fervent thanks and praise to the crew who were not only extremely good and fast but very nice and accommodating as well as respectful of me and my property and my questions and requests. Muchas, muchas gracias Raely Todos!
For anyone with some of my doubts and concerns, I would be trilled with the opportunity to put them at ease with my overwhelming satisfaction with the roof itself as well as the total process from my first contact with you.

One of our better decisions was to strike up a relationship with Brewster Roofing and their fine staff in the re-roofing project at our residence. Our past experience in having a residence re-roofed was not a good one and the recent installation of a new roof was a shining experience of things that can go right and it is certainly pleasing to be able to report that you have another totally satisfied customer.
We very much appreciate the fact all went well, the staff was super helpful and the crew on the roof were professionals who toiled through two of the hottest days of the summer - one heck of a job.
The plan went without a hitch, the communications were just great, the double checking by Mark and Glenn was super, and the after job clean up was first class. A customer could not ask any roofing company for anything more.
We thank you doe all of your effort and encourage you to keep us in mind if you have a prospective customer who would like a reference - we would be more than happy to visit with anyone regarding Brewster Roofing.

Dear Becky and Mark,
We want to thank you again for the wonderfully stress-free reproofing of our home. We feel good about and proud passing your name on to our friends knowing that you will do a super job for them as well.
The polite crew was very skilled and professional and all- business without any loud music playing, idle chatting, or wasted time etc. Their perseverance made short order of our re-roofing, maybe two and one-half days at the most for our fairly large home. We appreciated their treating our property and belongings with such care and respect and their impeccable cleanup; we found no debris to clean up after they were finished. Our neighbors were also impressed by the crew's work ethic, and we know that several are now using you or will be using you as a result.
When we are now outside, many, many people who we don't even know are walking by giving us unsolicited compliments on our beautiful weathered wood Grand Serquoia. Thank you, Mark for being such a delightful, genuine, and honest person, and for helping us choose a gorgeous roof that flatters and brings out the natural rock on the front of our home.
It was important to have Becky, not an answering machine, always available at the office to help us from time of choosing the roof to the completion, and have Mark always available by cell phone during the entire process as well as on-site several times a day to check in on the crew.
Finally, we want to let others know that your bid was very reasonable compared to others. We used you not just for this reason, but, more importantly, because of Brewster's wonderful word-of-mouth reputation.

We are writing this correspondence to serve as a letter of reference for your future customers. Also we would like to thank both of you for your professionalism and commitment to customer service in replacing our roof.
I think that we serve as a good reference for you, because as you know life served a few obstacles in replacing our roof and we were still very satisfied with the end product. You more than patiently worked with us through the delays that our homeowners insurance company created during the process, which in turn created several rescheduled start dates. We were not certain of the type of roof we were going to replace our current one with and you Mark provided us with home addresses, which had a variety of materials and colors. That alone helped us make our decision.
Once the materials were delivered and stacked upon the roof we experienced a few minor glitches -- as sometimes happens in life. This is where your company's customer service shined through. You both drove out to our home immediately to assess the situation (on a holiday, no less) and had repairs promptly handled.
We do hope that you will pass on the praise to your crew. They were focused and determined. They worked quickly and did what ever it took to complete the job promptly.

This letter shall serve as a reference to the professionalism of the Richard A. Brewster Roofing Company.
On or about May 12, 2004 I called the Brewster Roofing Company regarding water leakage during rain at my place of residence. At the time of the call I was unable to reach a live voice but within 30 minutes I received a return phone call with an apology for the voice message. At the time it was raining and I was told, unfortunately nothing could be done till it stops raining. Later, the same evening I received a call from Mark Brewster. I told him of my history with his company. The next morning Mark visited my home and inspected the roof, Mark noticed the entire roof ad blisters both broken and unbroken. He told me the apparent problem and suggested I invoke my warranty rights. He told me how I should do it but suggested, perhaps a telephone call may speed the process. I made the telephone call and a package or kit is being forwarded to me to proceed in taking advantage of the warranty.
Throughout the weekend it rained quite heavily but I had minimized the potential damage with plastic sheeting, towels and buckets. On Monday morning, May 16 a young man named Mike came to my home to do an additional inspection. It continued to rain throughout the day and the following day. Wednesday morning, Mike returned with tools and material to find and fix the problem. He looked throughout the attic but was unable to identify the problem at the vantage point. He went to the roof and soon discovered a location where one level of the roof joins another level. He showed and explained to me the possible cause of the leak, including board rot and the lack of caulk on the bat. It was obvious through Mike's explanation the water leak was not the result of workmanship on behalf of Brewster's. Mike repaired the area of concern and gave me instructions to replace the bat after the board dries.
I am thankful there are still companies like Brewster Roofing where owners and employees have superior integrity and knowledge. I found both Mark and Mike to be knowledgeable, cordial and tempered with conservatism. I highly recommend this company to any consumer who may need service beyond what is expected today. On a scale from 1 to 5 with five being the best, Brewster rates a 5 plus. Thank you.
